Sheila Bownas Archive

Sometimes I worked with other designers, companies and fabric archives on special print or design projects.
One example was the Sheila Bownas archive, a project run by Chelsea Cefai, which showcases the work of Yorkshire artist Sheila Bownas (1925-2007).

I modified and translated the West Riding design to work as a repeat pattern print and then hand printed batches of upholstery fabric to compliment a touring exhibition of the artists work.
