AA2A Project – Green to Gold

In 2016 I did an AA2A placement at Sheffield Hallam University. Working with MA lead Roger Bateman we visited a local manufacturers who were working on producing a biopolymer fabric that when heated and pressed, became solid. I worked on dyeing the fabric with natural dyes and also creating a new design and screen printing that on to the finished dyed fabric. It was then heated and used to create a solid structure.
